Interactive Channel demonstrates our interactive broadcast capability using Flash content. It allows you to create a proper time-based broadcast TV schedule complete with both programs and other non-EPG assets like adverts, promos and idents. At the same time, viewers retain full interactive control of the viewing experience and can jump to any allowed program in the EPG whether in the past or the future. Channel owners can also elect whether or not they allow adverts to be skipped. All program assets can also be displayed in the media library as video on demand items for streaming or download and can be charged for even if the interactive channel itself is free of charge. |

Live Channel demonstrates how live Flash streams can be mixed with video on demand items within a single channel. Our in-house professional broadcast head end enables us to downlink satellite channels from most parts of the world and integrate them with internet TV services. The platform allows operators to load and display normal broadcast EPGs for channels. In this example, the channel is set up as a subscription channel. Pricing can be set for periods of between 24 hours and 3 months giving unlimited viewing of the content.

Video-on-Demand Channel illustrates our key video on demand functionality using Flash content. Media is available in up to four bit rates covering everything from high definition to mobile delivery but the channel owner can specify a default bit rate to play when the thumbnail is clicked. Portals support powerful metadata search allowing viewers to quickly find content. At the same time, they can search by aggregate results such as “most viewed.” All content can be individually tagged for geo-IP blocking, meaning your content is only viewable where you have the rights to show it. Content can be charged for on a per item basis in three different currencies. Customers load cash into their e-wallet which is then debited on a per-minute basis as they watch paid-for content in the portal. If required, content can also be downloaded from the portal for a fixed price.
